INTEGRATION NOTES
Where it fits
Evaluate the XL module when an embedded libNFC project needs a board that can be mounted inside its own fixture. Design the card presentation area and mounting environment together, then assess the selected hardware with sample cards.
Integration and configuration
The official model page specifies 13.56 MHz operation, a USB connection, ISO/IEC 14443 A/B and FeliCa communication. Software uses libNFC and libusb; the manufacturer excludes the µFR software SDK. This page covers the OEM USB configuration.
Confirm before selection
Confirm the current board revision, connector access and mounting drawing. The manufacturer shop presents RF booster and SAM choices inconsistently across headings and option descriptions; request the exact configuration in writing. Test the final panel and sample tags before committing to a batch.
Prepare a quotation
Send sample-card details, operating system, application task, connection and quantity. For OEM projects, include the mounting sketch, panel material and connector clearance. The quotation confirms configuration and delivery terms.
